About this statement

PostNinja strives to make its website and web service accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the extent to which postninja.se complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in accordance with the EU Web Accessibility Directive (2016/2102/EU).

Note: PostNinja is a commercial service and is not subject to the EU public-sector accessibility directive. We publish this statement voluntarily as a commitment to our users.

Compliance status

PostNinja is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Known limitations and planned improvements are listed below.

What we do well

  • Semantic HTML with correct heading levels and landmarks (nav, main, footer).
  • Every form field has a corresponding label (<label> or aria-label).
  • Sufficient colour contrast for text in light and dark modes (minimum 4.5:1 for body text).
  • Dark-mode support (prefers-color-scheme: dark).
  • Responsive design that works at 320 px width and up to 400 % zoom.
  • Visible focus indicators when navigating with a keyboard.
  • The cookie banner has the correct role="dialog", aria-modal and aria-label.
  • Images and icons have alt text or aria-hidden="true" for decorative elements.

Known limitations

  • Complex calendar view: drag-and-drop for scheduling is not fully accessible using only the keyboard. An alternative is to set the time manually in the post editor.
  • AI-generated content: AI responses may contain unstructured text without semantic markup. The user is responsible for editing before publishing.
  • Video and audio media: users can upload videos without captions. PostNinja does not generate captions automatically.

Planned improvements

  • Keyboard-accessible calendar navigation (planned).
  • Improved focus management in modal dialogs.

Technical information

PostNinja has been tested with the following tools and methods:

  • Automated analysis with axe DevTools.
  • Manual keyboard navigation in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
  • Screen-reader testing with VoiceOver (macOS / iOS).

The service is built with HTML5, Tailwind CSS and Livewire. Interactive content is handled with Alpine.js.
